SIGOURNEY-Lucille Jones, age 100, died Saturday, September 2, 2006, at the Manor House Care Center in Sigourney. Lucille was born November 11, 1905, in Brighton, Iowa, to Clark and Mada (Frazer) Tracy. She graduated from Brighton High School and William Penn College. On June 24, 1928, she married Harold Jones in Sigourney. Lucille worked in the Keokuk County Treasurer's Office, Sigourney Elementary School and Sigourney Public Library, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Sigourney Christian Church. Survivors include her daughter: Sally Glandon and husband Ardy of Sigourney; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Harold in 1959. Private family services will be held at the Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel in Sigourney with Rev. Jim Bringman officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund has been established for the Manor House Care Center. Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service in Sigourney is handling the arrangements.
