Lloyd David Rusbult

Parnell - Lloyd David Rusbult was born October 4, 1941, in Williamsburg, Iowa the son of Wilford Carl and Dorothy Magdelene (Collingwood) Rusbult. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Williamsburg High School. He was a lifetime career member of the Iowa National Guard. On October 4, 1969, he was united in marriage to Leone Kay Sawyer at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Williamsburg. Lloyd enjoyed fixing old lawn tractors, his beard and fishing at his cabin on the Mississippi River. Lloyd died on Friday, October 3, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids at the age of 72 years.

He is survived by his wife Leone of Parnell; a daughter Jennifer Campbell of Williamsburg; two brothers: Donald of Marengo and Robert of Brooklyn; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents and a brother Leroy.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Pastor Andrew Gray will officiate.
