KEOTA-Linda Jean Woodruff, 79, of Wellman, Iowa, formerly of Keota, passed away on September 19, 2024, due to a short and sudden illness.

 Linda was born to the late William E. Woodruff and the late Edith C. Woodruff (nee Hatfield) both from Maysville, Kentucky. Linda was raised in Maysville, Kentucky and moved to Keota, Iowa in 1989 with her late daughter Pamela Smith.

 Linda was a Christian and had great faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. She loved reading the Bible and loved God with every ounce of her being. Linda also enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities. She was a University of Kentucky and University of Iowa sports fan. Linda worked for the City of Maysville for 10 years before moving to Iowa with her daughter. After moving to Iowa Linda became a Nurses Aid. 

 Linda is preceded in death by both parents William, KIA April 19, 1945, and Edith September 16, 1986, a brother Simon May 25, 1987, a brother Paul D. August 31, 2004, a sister Phyllis who died as an infant, and a daughter Pamela December 23, 2012.

 Linda was the beloved aunt of Paul A. Woodruff of Amelia, Ohio, Timothy Woodruff of Erlanger, Kentucky, Teresa Woodruff of Dayton, Kentucky, Christina Woodruff of Alice, Texas, Steven Woodruff of Nashville, Tennessee, Brad Woodruff of Lexington, Ohio, Karen Foltz of Ludlow, Kentucky and Natale Deters of Cincinnati, Ohio. Linda also leaves behind numerous great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.

 Linda will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Parkview Manor Chapel in Wellman at a later date Private burial will be at Keota Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
