Linda S. Weber was born on September 6, 1946 in Ottumwa, IA, a daughter of Joseph and Lee Randall Teno. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1964 and became a LPN at Ottumwa Heights. Linda married Raymond H. Weber in Ottumwa on August 27, 1966. They made their home on the farm in Clear Creek Township, south of Keota. Linda worked many years as a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Sigourney Care Center and at Maplewood Manor. She loved nature, fishing, camping and vacationing, especially with her grandchildren. She was a collector of Santas. Linda was very active at. Holy Trinity Parish, Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church She died following a long illness on Friday, November 28, 2008 at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. Linda lived 62 years, 2 months and 22 days. She is survived by husband Raymond of Keota; sons Bryan (Stacie) Weber of Oskaloosa and Brent (Betty) Weber of Sigourney; daughters Becky Weber of Sigourney and Brenda (Tim) Sieren of Ottumwa; 8 grandchildren: Megen, Brandt, Benjamin, Jeremiah, Nicholas, Katerina, Brittney & Brianna; father: Joseph Teno of Ottumwa; brother Joe J. Teno of Sibley, IL; sisters Cathy Martz and Cindy Smith both of Ottumwa. Linda was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Visitation will be at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 10 AM until 7 PM with a vigil prayer service at 7 PM. The Family will be present from 4 PM to 7 PM. Burial will be in the Holy Trinity Parish Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, rural Harper, IA. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com under obituaries. A memorial fund has been established for the American Diabetes Association.
