Linda S. Waldrop

Linda S. Waldrop age 67, of Marengo, passed away at her home on Saturday January 23, 2021. A visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M., Thursday January 28, 2021 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. A memorial fund has been established. Masks and social distancing will be required at all services. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements.

Linda is survived by her husband Roger of Marengo, her children, Rodney Waldrop (Terena Wells) of Marengo, Ryan Waldrop of Marengo, and Rachel Waldrop of Marion; nine grandchildren Savannah, Ryan Jr., and Sylvia Waldrop of Kodiak Island, AK; Brody Waldrop of Phenix City, AL; Candace Fingalsen (Michael) of Mason City, Rodney Jr., and Jordyn Waldrop of Marengo; Georgie Waldrop of Marion and Lexi Matlick of Marengo; six great grandchildren Destiny, Corey, Royce, Olivia, Eliza and Aria; a sister Vicki Schwedler of Sioux City; a half sister Angela Huber of Williamsburg; and half brothers Donnie (Terra) Huber of Ladora, and Jeff (Cassidy) Huber of Marengo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Rick and Ron Huber; and her sisters Kathy, Barb and Chrissy Huber.

Linda Sue Huber was born June 3, 1953 in Dewitt, Iowa the daughter of Donald and Sylvia Poole Huber. She graduated from Central Sioux City High School. Linda was united in marriage to Roger Waldrop on October 3, 1976 in Oregon, IL. She worked for Coca Cola in Sioux City, Iowa, later working for Sullivan Graphics in Marengo. Linda enjoyed planting flowers, reading, and loved listening to any Elvis music. She especially enjoyed talking politics with her family and those in her company.
