KEOTA-Lee Orman, age 64, of Keota, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at his home. Lee was born March 10, 1948, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Clyde and Virginia (Ries) Orman. He graduated from Hedrick High School in 1966, then served in the United States Air Force. Lee lived in Washington state until moving to Keota in 1980. He enjoyed cats, riding bikes and mountain climbing when he was younger. Survivors include his mother: Virginia Orman of Iowa City; son: Lief Lackey of Vancouver, Washington; brother: Larry Orman of Iowa City; half-brother: Lynn Orman of Medical Lake, Washington and niece: Jessica McNally of Voorhees, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his father: Clyde. Graveside services and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa, with Rev. Robert Preston officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota. Memorials may be made to the family.
