Larry Wayne Maschmann was born on June 4, 1955 in Sigourney, IA a son of Harvey and Gwen Robison Maschmann. Larry attended school in Millersburg. He was united in marriage to Mylissia (Micky) Russell in Millersburg, IA on July 19. 1997. Larry lived in Millersburg for most of his life. He worked at Aramark/Amana for 12 years. He loved fishing, camping and hanging out with his boys, playing with his cat Molly, hanging out with his buddy Hank, and watching NASCAR with his wife. He also enjoyed spending quality time with all of his grandchildren. He loved his Busch Light Beer. Larry lived his life to the fullest. He died suddenly at his home in Millersburg on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the age of 53 years, 9 months and 17 days. He is survived by his wife Mylissia of Millersburg, IA, his mother Gwen Maschmann of Millersburg, IA; 3 sons: Jason (Stacey) Maschmann of Mechanicsville, IA and their children Makayla and Tyler; Cory (Amanda) Maschmann of Stanwood, IA and their children Derrick and Brandon; Michael (Jamie) Russell of Williamsburg, IA and their children Zach and Gage; 3 daughters: Tiffany (James) White of Tulsa, OK and their child James Jr.; Michelle (Neil) Kinzenbaw of Marengo, IA and their children Miranda, Mackinze, Clayton and Cassie; Darkota Woosley , age 13, of Moberly, Missouri; Also surviving are 3 brothers John (Margie) Maschmannn of Princeton, IA, Ron (Sherry) Maschmann of Millersburg, IA; Denny Maschmann of Coralville, IA; a sister Kathy (Steve) Haugen of Decorah, IA; and several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father in July 1995. A Celebration of his Life Service was held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation service in North English with the Rev.
