Kyleigh Breanna Stanerson

Belle Plaine-Kyleigh Breanna Stanerson was born July 9, 1993, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The daughter of Brian Stanerson and Colleen (Heick) Stanerson. She graduated from Williamsburg High School in 2012. Kyleigh worked helping others, she has previously worked at Tanger Place, Four Oaks, and HACAP, she liked to enrich others lives. Kyleigh enjoyed doing crafts, painting, riding 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, and motorcycles, going on road trips, concerts, bonfires and most important was the time she spent with her daughter Ka’Niya. Kyleigh died Friday, March 21, 2025, at her home at the age of 31 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Ka’Niya Coles; parents, Brian and Barb Stanerson of Conroy and Colleen Stanerson of Belle Plaine; five siblings, Trevor Stanerson of Cedar Rapids, Ciara Edwards of Cedar Falls, Ellie Stanerson of Conroy, Conner Peterson and Brayden Peterson both of Keystone; grandparents, Keith and LaMar Stanerson of Conroy, Bill and Becky Heick of Williamsburg, Maureen Hansen of Palo and Jim and Raylee Goethals of Bennett and many uncles, aunts and cousins. She is preceded in death by her two special aunts, Dena Stanerson and Bridget Stanerson.

Celebration of life service will be 10:30am on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the First Lutheran Church north of Conroy. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. A memorial fund has been established for Kyleigh’s daughter Ka’Niya.
