Kristie Lee Kilgore

North English- Kristie Lee Kilgore was born May 16, 1977 in Iowa City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Kerby Doughty and Mary Christy (Lee) Fuller. She graduated from English Valleys High School in 1996. She also attended Hill Top Chapel Christian School in What Cheer. Kristie worked many years at Whirlpool and was a member of the North English Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening, working with her flowers and spending time with her grandparents, Harold & Evelyn Lee, whom she will now be with. Her children were her greatest joy. Kristie passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, peacefully at the age of 45 years.
 
Her memory is lived on by her children: Lane Lyman of Marengo, Ashtin Kuesel of Williamsburg, SPC Cedric Kuesel of Davenport and Kadince Kuesel of Williamsburg; two brothers Austin Doughty of South English and Josiah Doughty of Ocean Springs, MS; a sister Dr. Tilly Schimdt of Osage Beach, MO; two step sisters Jesse Axmear of Omaha, NE and Cassie O’Rourke of North English; father Kerby Doughty of Fort Fairfield, ME.
 
A memorial service will be held at the North English Christian Church at 10 am October 8th with a luncheon to follow. Powell Funeral Home in North English is caring for Kristie and her family. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
