Kenneth Miller

Kenneth L. Miller was born January 15, 1946 in Washington, Iowa the son of Lester Joseph and Katie Ann (Kauffman) Miller. Kenneth graduated from Iowa Mennonite School in 1963. He has lived in the Wellman community all of his life where he farmed for 15 years and was a realtor for 25 years. Kenneth enjoyed golfing, playing cards, also watching baseball and basketball. He was a former member of the Lions and Rotary Club. Kenneth died on Monday, November 17, 2014 at his home in Wellman at the age of 68 years.

He is survived by a daughter Lori (Tracy) Owens of Wellman, two grandsons: Trever and Zach Owens, two brothers: Duane (Sharon) Miller of Harrisonbburg, VA and Calvin (Jean) Miller of Abingdon, VA; four sisters: Marietta (Denny) Fowler of Hillsdale, MI; Elvesta (Loran) Hochstedler of Kalona, IA; Rita (Ellis) Miller of Apple Creek, OH; and Ruth (Craig) Beachy of Plain City, Oh. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in- law Jim Yoder.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Wellman, Iowa. Pastor Mark Larson will officiate. Burial will be in the Upper Deer Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman.
