DELTA- Kenneth Max Kensler, age 49, of Delta, died suddenly Monday, February 14, 2005 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. Kenny was born August 12, 1955, in Sigourney, to Theodore and Ethel (Spears) Kensler. He lived in the Delta area all of his life. Kenny graduated from Sigourney High School and Lincoln Tech in Des Moines, Iowa. He was currently a Supervisor at Oskaloosa Engineering in Oskaloosa. He enjoyed the internet, woodworking and his cats: Sweetie and Sneakers. Survivors include two daughters: Stephanie Kensler of Oskaloosa and Stacey Fox and husband Kevin of Delta; four grandchildren: Cody, Summer, Austin and Zachary and one uncle: Harold Spears of Sycamore, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2005, at Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Vince Homan officiating. Burial will be at Garrett Cemetery, Delta. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2005, with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel in Sigourney. A general memorial fund has been established. Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service in Sigourney is handling the arrangements.
