Keith Lackore

Oxford-Keith Arden Lackore was born November 30, 1934 in Forest City, Iowa. The son of Clifford and Winnie (Whiton) Lackore. He graduated from Colwell High School. Keith served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1957. He farmed and was a truck driver for many years. He has spent the last 40 plus years with he's companion and love of his life Karen A. White. Together they enjoyed traveling especially to Louisiana. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, anything to do with diesel trucks and spending time with his grandchildren. Keith died Monday, August 2, 2021 at his home in Oxford at the age of 86.

He is survived by their children, Jeff (Laurie) Lackore of Joplin, MO, Randy (Shelly) Lackore of El Dorado Springs, MO, Eric (Peggy) Lackore of Monticello, KY, Kim (Jeff) Doehrmann of Parnell, Jeff (Jamie) White of Dale City, VA, Rick (Debbie) White of Gilbert, AZ and Scott White of Conroy; 16 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a sister Lois (Dale) Anderson ofTemple, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings Veone, Dale, Donald and LaVonne.

Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Williamsburg.
