KEOTA-Keith Finders, age 86, of Keota, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Maplewood Manor in Keota. Keith was born February 14, 1927, in Ferguson, Iowa and received his education in Keota and Harper schools. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. On June 6, 1949, he married Mary Jaeger at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Keith was a maintenance worker for Natural Gas Pipeline for 38 years and a few years for W.C. Gretter and Sons. He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish. Keith enjoyed ball games, especially the Cubs and Bears, playing the slots and his family. Survivors include two children: William (Sherri) Finders of Oskaloosa and Mary Pat Redlinger of Keota; three grandchildren: Aaron Finders, Trenton and Jade Redlinger and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Mary in 2012; two sons: Stephen and Robert and two grandsons: Christopher and Adam. Memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2013, at Holy Trinity Parish - St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be at Holy Trinity Cemeteries - St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the church.
