Keith E. Foubert, age 74, of Deep River, Ia, died on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Montezuma Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Montezuma. A visitation and gathering will be from noon until 1:30 Pm on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. A public graveside service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm at the Millersburg Cemetery in Millersburg. Rev. Michelle Williamson will officiate. Keith was born on August 22, 1937 near Millersburg, Iowa, a son of George Glenwood and Beatrice Violet Helm Foubert. He grew up in the Millersburg community and attended school there. Keith was an avid reader and enjoyed reading his bible. He also enjoyed discussing politics. He made his home in Deep River until becoming a resident of the Montezuma Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Montezuma in July 2011. Keith is survived by brothers Douglas Foubert of Deep River, IA and Melvin Foubert of What Cheer, IA; sisters Carolyn Phippen of Atlantic,IA; Sandra Stoddard of Plattsmouth, NE; and Jo Anne Robison of Kansas City, MO; and many nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother Donald, and four nephews.
