Karen Ann Evans

Williamsburg-Karen Ann Evans was born December 18, 1946 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Lawrence and Doris (Jegglie) Guglielmetti. She graduated from East High School in Rockford. Karen was united in marriage to Charles Gerald Evans in Rockford. To this union they were blessed with two sons. They later divorced. Karen lived in Rockford from 1946 to 1975 when she moved to Clinton, Iowa were she lived from 1975 to 2008 which brought her to Williamsburg, Iowa. She was the manager of the Best Western/Super 8 in Williamsburg for 4 years. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.
Karen passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Colonial Manor in Amana at the age of 68 years.

She is survived by two sons: Christopher Evans of Clinton and Jason Evans of Conroy; five grandchildren: Dakota Evans, Alycia Evans, Haley Evans, Kennedy Evans and Nicholas Evans and a brother: Don (Judy) Guglielmetti of Rockford. Also surviving are her extended family: Tammy Day, Cory Day, Cody and Ashley Hartman, Lauren Hartman and Steven Keiser, Ben Hartman and Emma Keiser. She was preceded in death by her parents.
