Julie Ann Mann

Julie Ann Mann, age 66 of Marengo, formerly of Springville, Iowa passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. There will be no services at this time. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements.

Julie is survived by her children, Jennifer (William) Geoghagan of Marengo, and Jeremy Mann and Wayne Mann, both of Springville; six grandchildren, Miley, Kai, and Willow Geoghagan, Cayden and Charlee Mann, and McKenna Mann; and siblings, Brian Crane of Central City, Ron Crane (Pam) of Springville, Dennis Crane of Dallas Center, and Cathy Horak (Bryan) of Marion, along with a niece Nicole Crane of Springville.

J ulie was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Pat Crane, and a brother-in-law Doug Grimm.

Julie was born February 13, 1958. She graduated from Springville High School in 1976. She was employed at BJ’s gas station in Springville for many years. She then worked at Family Foods in Anamosa, along with decorating cakes. Julie enjoyed sewing craft projects, Halloween costumes and quilts. She loved reading, spending time on a beach, daytrips, and family vacations. Julie collected lighthouses and penguins and loved the movie “Tremors” and watching the NCIS series. She especially enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events.
