Judith Ann Pfeiffer was born November 16, 1939 in Wellman, Iowa the daughter of Francis and Naomi (Hole) Butterbaugh. On April 30,1960 she was united in marriage to William "Bill" Pfeiffer in Wellman. They lived in Wellman, Washington, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri before moving to New London in 1981. Judith passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant at the age of 74. Judith is survived by three sons; Perry (Brenda) Pfeiffer of Wellman, Rich (Hattie) Pfeiffer of Conroy, Iowa, Mike Pfieffer of Wellman, and a daughter Brenda (John) Klos of Montezuma, Iowa. Six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one step great grandchild. Three sisters Trudy (Bobby) Workman of Bonaparte, Iowa, Pamela Canott of Olds, Iowa and Monica (Tom) Babcock of Olds, Iowa. A brother Rodney Butterbaugh of Wellman. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, parents Francis and Naomi Butterbaugh, a son Carl Pfeiffer, a granddaughter Brandi, two brothers Richard and Kerry Butterbaugh, and a sister Neta Fowler. Celebration of life service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Rod Copper will be officiating. Burial will be held in the Wassonville Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 1- 2 pm Thursday, December 12, 2013. A general memorial fund has been established.
