Judith Ann Oldenburg - Graf, 67, of Lockridge, IA, died Thursday, December 3, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Visitation will begin after 12:00 noon on Monday, December 7, 2009, at the Olson - Powell Memorial Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. that evening. Friends are asked to gather at the Memorial Chapel on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. for a brief service, followed by a procession to Lockridge Cemetery for the graveside committal, with Pastor Gary Van Nyhuis officiating. Memorials have been established to the American Diabetes Association. Born August 29, 1942, in Everett, Washington, Judith Ann was the daughter of Edward Frank and Doreen Knowles Oldenburg. On December 31, 1985, she married Larry Graf in Mt. Pleasant, IA. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2008. Judy spent her formative years in Washington State. She was a homemaker and worked on the farm. Judy came to West Point, Iowa in 1981 as a horse breeder. For the past 25 years, she has made her home in Lockridge, IA. She was a active member of the A.R.B.A. (American Rabbit Breeder's Association) and was a registered judge for the organization. She also enjoyed embroidering and making stain glass. Survivors include her son, Ryan Prather of Lockridge, IA; a step-son, Bill Graf of Lockridge, IA; a step-daughter, Amy Heston of West Des Moines, IA; a grandson, Taylor Prather of Burlington, IA; a granddaughter, Desiree Wilson of Mt. Pleasant, IA; two step-grandchildren, Max and Anna Graf of Lockridge, IA. Also surviving is a half-sister, Lynn Dancer of Lynnwood, WA,; and a half-brother, Tracy Oldenburg of Everett, WA. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Larry Graf.
