Judith A. Harland

Judith A. Harland, age 80, of Marengo, passed away September 3, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2022 at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Williamsburg, Iowa. Inurnment will be in the Watkins Cemetery, Nichols, Iowa. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements.

Judith is survived by a daughter Laurie (Kosowski) Craig, of Marengo; three grandchildren, Loren, Jennifer and Aislin; two great-grandchildren, Rosa and Chloe; and three siblings, Barry Schmelzer, Angie Caves and Steve Schmelzer. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lucille Schmelzer and two brothers John and Greg Schmelzer.

Judith Ann Schmelzer was born May 4, 1941, in Davenport, the daughter of John and Lucille (Oostendorp) Schmelzer. She attended Black Hawk College and Kirkwood Community College. Judith worked as a Respiratory Therapist, Hypnotherapist and was also a business owner. She enjoyed reading and art.
