Judith Loretta Brenneman

Parnell- Judith L. Brenneman of Parnell was born February 23, 1943, in North English, the daughter of Carl B. and Velva (Summit) Johnson . She graduated from Williamsburg High School. Judith was united in marriage to Duane Brenneman on June 3, 1961 in Parnell. Judith was a homemaker along with a few other jobs. She enjoyed playing piano, singing, cooking, gardening, flowers, crocheting and spending time with family. Judith passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 79 years.

She is survived by her husband Duane; four children, Matt (Kimberly) Brenneman of Parnell, Mark (Kassandra) Brenneman of Williamsburg, Angie (Nathan) Beyler of Walkerton, IN and Julie (Michael) Smith of North English; 18 grandchildren, Levi, Nash, Brandt, Brock, Brian, Matthew, Brook, Bronwyn, Brielle, Kaden, Ren Brenneman, Luke, Joshua, Ethan Beyler, Amanda Purchase, Abigail Bush, Bridgette Guengerich and Brianne Bookman; 15 great grandchildren; four sisters, Unita, Rosie, Maureen and Dixie and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Luke Brenneman and sister Madeline.

A Celebration Of  Life Service will be 10:00 am Friday, January 6, 2023, at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Burial will be at the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. A general memorial fund has been established. Messages may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
