L. Juanita "Nita" Fleenor, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, IA, died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Parkview Home in Wayland, IA.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Olson~Powell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Deborah Stowers officiating. Visitation will be held at the Memorial Chapel one hour prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be held in Forest Home Cemetery. Born on January 24, 1925, in New London, IA, Juanita was the daughter of Roy and Luella Brown Fleenor. She received her education from the Mt. Pleasant School District. Nita attended the First United Methodist Church and was a member of Chapter Original A of the P.E.O Sisterhood. Wintering in Florida with her parents at Treasure Island and Naples, Nita enjoyed walking on the beach. She loved gardening and listening to a variety of music genres. Nita is survived by a niece, Teresa McAllister of Naples, FL; and two nephews, Rande (Dixie) McAllister of Mt. Pleasant, IA, and Scott McAllister of Mt.
