Williamsburg- Josephine "Jo" Elizabeth Littrell was born November 8, 1935 in Edenton, Georgia. The daughter of Will and Eckie (Smith) Linch. She graduated from Monticello High School and attended Young Harris College. On December 26, 1957 Jo was united in marriage to Erwin Jackie Littrell at Monticello, Georgia. She enjoyed raising her family, gardening her flowers, sewing clothes for her children and reading. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg where she had been active in various committees. Jo passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg at the age of 85.
She is survived by two sons, Martin Littrell of Cedar Rapids and Scott (Kay) Littrell of Thornburg; two daughters, Phyllis (Kevin) Lund of Marengo and Debra Doty of Amana; thirteen grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and a brother, Pete (Doris) Linch of Plano, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Sarah and Eckie and two brothers, William and Pat.
Celebration Of Life Service will be held2:00 pm on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg. Pastor John Christianson will officiate. Visitation will be on Monday from noon until service time at the church. Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Carmen Cemetery in Carmen, Oklahoma.
