Joel Nojara Lisondra

Joel Nojara Lisondra, age 71, of Middle Amana, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Compass Memorial Hospital, in Marengo. Services are pending at this time.  Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Joel is survived by two daughters, Karen Lisondra of Tagana-an, Surigao del Norte, Philippines, and Kathleen (Jason) Barbour, of Newfoundland, Canada. Two grandchildren Samantha Kemi Lisondra and Jack Benjamin Barbour. A sister Dorita Steele, of West Des Moines. Three brothers, Mauro (Sol) Lisondra, Leonardo (Belen) Lisondra and Renato Lisondra, of the Philippines, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jose Lisondra, Sr. and Sergia G. Nojara, two sisters Henrietta Mindana and Araceli Lisondra, and three brothers: Nacianceno Lisondra, Jose Lisondra, Jr. And Rudolfo Lisondra.

He was a great father, a kind and spiritual man who loved his family. He will be deeply missed and remembered.
