Jessica Leigh Patch

South English- Jessica Leigh Patch was born June 20, 2001, in Galesburg, Illinois. She was the daughter of Brenden “Todd” and Carin Leigh (Craig) Patch. She graduated from Rockridge High School in Taylor Ridge, Illinois. Jessica was two weeks away from graduating PCI Academy for a degree in esthetics. 

Jessica and the love of her life, Clayton, were expecting their daughter Hallie Jo Moore, at any time. They were beyond excited to start a family. Jessica will forever hold Hallie in her arms in heaven. 

Jessica had a passion for all animals, especially her cat of 16 years, Molly. She could bring any plant to life and loved working in her garden. She took care of all her farm cats, donkeys, silkie chickens, and of course…Linda the farm dog. She absolutely loved nature- being on the water, boating, fishing, and hiking on trails. Her favorite vacation spot was the beach, especially Sanibel Island. 

Jessica died in an auto accident on Friday, January 17, 2025, near North English, at the age of 23 years. 

She is survived by her parents Carin Hancq and Brenden “Todd” Patch; the love of her life Clayton Moore and family; brother Robert “Daniel” (Gabriela Valdez) Patch; grandfather Thomas M (Pam) Craig; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, all that loved her dearly. She is preceded by her maternal grandma Sandra Treash and paternal grandma Carlyne Stokesbary. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1:00 - 3:00pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Andalusia Community Center in Andalusia, Illinois.
