Jeanne Elizabeth Jones

North English- Jeanne Elizabeth Jones of North English formerly of Williamsburg passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the English Valley Care Center at the age of 97 years.

Jeanne was born November 23, 1919 in Williamsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Cecelia (Nelson) Gittins. Jeanne worked at a number businesses in Williamsburg one being the Holz Dry-cleaning.

She is survived by her daughter: Pam (Jim) Palmer of Iowa City; three grandsons; 6 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Helen and Marion and three brothers: Jack, Fred and Jim Gittins.
