Kalona- Jayme Allen Whitehall of Kinross was born March 31, 1978, in Iowa City. The son of Denzil Whitehall and Julie (Timm). He went to Muscatine High School then went on to trade school for Millwright work. Jayme was united in marriage to Laura Hill on November 17, 2007, in Cedar Rapids. He worked for Newell Machinery Co. in Hiawatha. Jayme enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, dogs, and being with his family and friends. He was a devoted husband and father and very much enjoyed spending time with his family. He wanted to retire and move to a cabin somewhere in the mountains of Wyoming. Jayme looked forward to strengthening his growing relationship with Jesus and often went to Cornerstone Community Church in Kalona. Jayme passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 after a courageous 2 ½ year battle with cancer at the age of 44 Years.
He is survived by his wife Laura, 6 children, Katie, Devon, Tyler, Jayson, Mason, and Hank; his parents, Denzil Whitehall (Connie) and Julie Ravenscraft (Sam); 3 brothers, Corey Whitehall (Becka), Aaron Ravenscraft (Brittany), and Shawn Ravenscraft (Ashley); a sister, Della Whitehall (Nate) and a grandma Vada Timm.
He was preceded in Death by his Grandpa Marvin Timm SR, Grandparents Mr and Mrs James Whitehall.
