KEOTA-Jakob Peck was born Monday, January 16, 2006, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, to Benjamin and Casey (TeBockhorst) Peck and died there Saturday, January 28, 2006, at the age of 12 days. Survivors include his parents: Ben and Casey Peck of rural Keota; two brothers: Payton and Blake, his twin; paternal grandparents: Arthur and Dana Peck of Wellman; maternal grandparents: Joe and Gwen TeBockhorst of West Chester; paternal great grandmother: Opal Hahn of Keota and maternal great grandmothers: Opal TeBockhorst of Richmond and Marjorie Rich of Washington. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents: Benedict and Dorothy Peck and Bernard Hahn and maternal great grandfathers: Urban TeBockhorst and Donald Rich. Private family services will be held at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota. No visitation is planned. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Keota. Powell Funeral Home in Keota is handling the arrangements.
