SIGOURNEY-Jacqueline Iosbaker, age 85, of Sigourney, Iowa died Saturday, April 20, 2024 in her home surrounded by the ones she loved. Jackie was born on August 6, 1938 to Leon and Lillian Howard in North Conway, New Hampshire and grew up in Portsmith, New Hampshire. As a young girl she enjoyed going to the movies and buying movie star magazines. She married Dean Iosbaker in 1958 in Newfield, New Hampshire. She is survived by her sons Gary (Christie) Iosbaker and Douglas (Linda) Iosbaker and five grandchildren: Ashley (Ryan) Helsel, Kellie (John) Schwab, Heather Guenthner Sciford, Terri Vermillion and Scott (Cynthia) Guenthner.
Jackie greatly enjoyed spending her afternoons at the Sigourney Senior Citizen Center. For many years, she volunteered her time there and loved eating lunch and gossiping with her friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dean Iosbaker, her daughter Tracy Helfrich, her parents Leon and Lillian Howard, brothers Leon Howard, Jr. and Leonard Howard, her sister Rachel Warner and her granddaughter Megan Clark.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and no service is planned. Burial at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney, Iowa will take place at a later date.
