Jacqualine Ann Eckert

Wellman- Jacqualine Ann Eckert was born August 24, 1951 in Sigourney, Iowa the daughter of Max Ellsworth and Joan Virginia (Crawford) Wade. She attended English Valleys High School. Jackie worked as a CNA for many years in Wellman and Kalona. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and taking a yearly trip to Wisconsin. Jackie died on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her home in Wellman at the age of 65 years.

She is survived by her husband Marty Barnes of Wellman; mother Joan Wade of North English; two sisters Debbie Shipley of West Branch and Marsha (Dan) Vinson of Palo; two brothers Mike Wade and Jeff (Cindy) Wade all of North English; two brothers-in-law Terry Van Dee of North English and Larry Shipley of Hills; two sons Tim (Cindy) Greene of Montana and Matthew Greene of Colorado; two grandchildren Matthew & Michaela Greene; a stepson Jesse (Monica) Barnes of Swedesburg; a step granddaughter Katy Barnes; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her father Max Wade and a sister Roxine Van Dee.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4:00 -7:00 pm on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Powell Funeral Home, North English. A general memorial fund has been established. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com
