Williamsburg Dateline Irma Ida Emma Dellamuth was born on April 26, 1931, in Iowa County, Iowa, a daughter of Adolph and Minnie (Glandorf) Wardenburg. She was baptized on May 24, 1931 and confirmed on March 25, 1945. Irma attended Immanuel Parochial School and graduated from Williamsburg High School. She was united in marriage to Glen Dellamuth on September 8, 1956, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. She was a life long resident of the Williamsburg area. Irma was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Irma died on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her husband Glen of Williamsburg; three children: Brenda Jaynes of Greeley, CO, Mark (Michele) Dellamuth of Walford, and Kaylyn (Steve) Kruger of Estes Park, CO; seven grandchildren; Bryson & Lance Garringer, Austin, Madison & Mitchell Dellamuth, Matthew & Melissa Jaynes and two sisters: Edna (Dairyl) Faas of Millersburg, IA and Elda Shine of Victor, IA. Irma was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Harvey Wardenburg and a sister Selma Plotz. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg on Saturday, September 4, 2010, with Pastor Carl Cloeter officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church on Friday, September 3, 2010. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for Iowa City Hospice.
