Irene A. Ledger

Irene A. Ledger, age 89, of Marengo, passed away at her home Thursday, August 17, 2023. There will be no services at this time. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements.

Irene is survived by her daughter Cathy (Paul) Kowalski of Waterloo, two granddaughters Alissa and Christina Frimml, and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son Richard Ledger in 2010.

Irene Anne Dede was born December 24, 1933, in Vancouver BC, Canada. She attended Lord Tweedsmuir High School in Cloverdale BC and received her associate degree in nursing from Provincial/Essondale Nursing School. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading and bird watching. Irene especially enjoyed spending time with her pets.
