DELTA-Inez Miller, age 80, of Delta, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 12, 2007, at Harbor House in Clinton, Wisconsin. Inez was born October 6, 1926 in Oakley, Kansas, to Grandville and Esther (Ottken) Hays. She graduated from Oakley High School and Salina Business College. On June 16, 1945, she married Robert Miller in Topeka, Kansas. Upon Bob's discharge from the Army the couple moved to Delta, where Inez was a secretary for the Sigourney Elementary School for 15 years, retiring in 1982. Inez was a member of the Lancaster Christian Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and P.T.A. for many years. Bob and Inez also worked with the preschool children at the First Church of the Nazarene in Oskaloosa for many years. Survivors include one son: Mick Miller and wife Cheryl of Hiawatha; one daughter: Twyla Johnson and husband Roger of Beloit, Wisconsin; three grandchildren: Trisha Belinske and husband Kevin of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Allison Schwanebeck and husband Joe of Des Moines and Joel Miller of Hiawatha; one great granddaughter: Nyah Belinske and two sisters: Wanda Summers of Oakley, Kansas and LoRee Romer of Aurora, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Robert Miller in 2006 and brother: Lloyd Hays. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at the Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel in Sigourney with Rev. Jim Eschenbrenner officiating. Burial will be at Garrett Cemetery near Delta. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at the Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel in Sigourney. A general memorial fund has been established. Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service in Sigourney is handling the arrangements.
