Ida Emma Dorothy Lemley was born April 12, 1915 in Williamsburg, Iowa the daughter of Fred and Anna (Ristedt) Stohlmann. On October 21, 1934 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Lemley in Wellman. They have lived in Wellman all of their married life where Ida was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening. Ida died on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Parkview Manor in Wellman following a brief illness at the age of 90 years. Ida is survived by her husband Lloyd of Wellman; a son - Dennis Lemley and wife Lois of Washington; a daughter - Donna Putney and husband Morris of North Liberty; 4 grandsons; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters-in-law Alma Stohlmann of Williamsburg; and Margaret Stohlmann of Omaha, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; 8 brothers - Albert Stohlmann, Paul Stohlmann, Edward Stohlmann, Otto Stohlmann, Elton Stohlmann, Francis Stohlmann, Waldo Stohlmann, John Stohlmann; and 3 sisters - Minnie Huedepohl, Nora Hagen and Margaret Schmidt.
A Memorial Fund has been established for the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
