Henrietta Dick, age 92, died on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Manor House in Sigourney. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at the Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney. Rev. Frances Baumert will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, Sept 11th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney. Henrietta was born on December 18, 1919, in Sigourney, a daughter of Charles Edward and Mabel Clubb Hauschild. She attended Newkirk Country School. Henrietta married Francis Dick at the Methodist parsonage in Sigourney on April 6, 1938. They lived and farmed near Ollie until 1973 when they moved to Sigourney. Henrietta enjoyed music, gardening, quilting, and loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Charlotte (Jim) Deitrich of Sigourney; two grandchildren: Jane (Scott) Bruns of North English, IA and Michael Deitrich of Overland Park, KS; two great grandchildren: Morgan and AJ; and two step great grandchildren: Lacey & Allie. Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis, and a sister Marie Martin.
