Helen Wilkinson

SIGOURNEY-Helen F. Wilkinson, age 76, of Sigourney, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at her home.
Helen was born August 30, 1941, in Fairfield, to Floyd and Helen (Giberson) Garrison and received her education in Fairfield Community Schools. On December 29, 1972, she married Gary Wilkinson in Fairfield. Following marriage the couple lived in Fairfield until moving to Sigourney in 1988. Helen worked at the munitions plant in Burlington, Chain and Cable in Fairfield and Crane in Washington. She enjoyed junking, antiquing, thrift stores, collecting and her family.
Survivors include her husband: Gary of Sigourney; daughter: Terry (Myron) Arduser of Sigourney; sons: Christopher (Irina) Wilkinson of Ocala, Florida and Thomas (Reanna) Wilkinson of Fairfield; grandchildren: Cory Arduser, Kyle Arduser, Kennedy Wilkinson, Jaydon Wilkinson, Eugene (Jolisa Zapata) Borzovik and Tyler Walag; great grandchildren: Sebastian Arduser, Nicholas Goad, Aaron Kitzmann, Bryson Arduser, Izaiah Arduser and Kortez Borzovik; siblings: Melvena Shondel, Howard (Kathy) Garrison, Alvin (Linda) Garrison and Deanna (Randy) Cooksey, all of Fairfield, June (Arthur) Wild of Essexville, Michigan, Charlotte (Richard) Potts of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Roxanne (Denny) McDole of Sigourney; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Floyd (Ike) Garrison, sister: Virginia Weaver and granddaughter: Mandy Arduser.
Celebration of Life will be held from noon until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the V.F.W. Hall in Fairfield.
