Hattie Elizabeth Jackson

South English- Hattie Elizabeth Jackson was born May 21, 2007 in Logan, Utah, the daughter of Jarrod Jay & Debra Elizabeth "Liz" (Shepherd) Jackson. From Utah they moved to Normal, IL and later to South English, IA. Hattie was a 5th grade student at English Valleys Elementary in North English. She was full of life, enjoyed nature, baking, singing, dancing and learning to play the clarinet. She was a ray of sunshine, a songbird, and a friend to all. Hattie passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the age of 10 years.
Hattie is survived by her parents Jarrod & Liz Jackson; a sister Kailey; a brother Brodey; and her grandparents Donald & Gayle Jackson of Saratoga Springs, UT and Lynn & Debbie Shepherd of Lindon, UT.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints- Iowa City Stake Center in Iowa City. Officiating will be President Ron Haskell. Graveside service will be 2:30 pm on Saturday at the South English Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 pm on Friday September 15 at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Memorials may be given to the Hattie Jackson Memorial Fund.
