Harold T. Miller was born April 26, 1908 near Joetown, Iowa, the son of David D. and Naomi (Miller) Miller. He attended Brush #8 rural school and the Lincoln Flying School in Lincoln, Nebraska. On November 16, 1930 he was united in marriage to Rosetta Brenneman at her parents home near Frytown. They made their home in the Wellman community until moving to Iowa county in 1948, they moved to Washington in 1959. Harold was a farmer and a mechanic. Harold was a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington. He enjoyed building model airplanes and woodworking. Harold died on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the McCreedy Home in Washington following a short illness at the age of 100 years. Harold is survived by 7 children - Robert E. Miller and wife Mickey of Roy, Utah; Marlin W. Miller of Washington; Carl K. Miller and wife Phillith of Highlands Ridge, Colorado; Charlene McLain and husband Leo of San Antonio, Texas; Frank D. Miller and wife Sherry of Port Ludlow, Oregon; Marcia Rozinek and husband Dave of West Branch; Dallas G. Miller and wife Debbie of Westminster, Colorado; 22 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a grandchild, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
A memorial fund has been established for the McCreedy Home.
