Harold Dean Greenlee

South English- Harold Dean Greenlee was born September 14, 1924 near North English, Iowa, the son of Lecil Ray and Naoma Fern (Moore) Greenlee. He serviced in the United States Army during WWII, serving in Germany and Japan. After being honorably discharged he returned to farm with his father near South English. On September 23, 1956 Harold was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Rehfeldt at the Victor Methodist Church. He was a member of the North English Methodist Church. His greatest joy, was being outdoors farming and livestock. Harold died on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the English Valley Care Center, North English at the age of 91 years.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Ann of North English; a sister Naoma Houser of Keota; and two nephews: Mark (Charline) Greenlee and Alan (Kathy) Greenlee all of North English. He was preceded by his parents; a brother Glenn Greenlee; and an infant sister Opal Louise Greenlee.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:30 PM on Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Powell Funeral Home, North English. Rev. Michelle Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in the South English Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 1:30 pm until service time.
