H. Lynn Miller was born, August 20, 1927 in Stuttgart, AR the son of Thomas and Ruth (Brenneman) Miller. On March 22, 1951 Lynn was united in marriage to Mertice Brenneman at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Kalona. They lived in rural Wellman for 61 years where Lynn farmed and raised turkeys. He was a member of the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church. He enjoyed singing in choirs, helping others and also did volunteer service work. Lynn died on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Parkview Manor in Wellman at the age of 85 years. Lynn is survived by his wife Mertice of Wellman, four children; Byron (Virginia) Miller of Minatare, NE; Georgia (Mark) Gingerich of Goshen, IN; Joan (Greg) Miyauchi of Grand Lake, CO; and Tom (Michelle) Miller of Kalona; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother Ned (Maggie) Miller of Des Moines; two sisters; Jean Thomas of Lancaster, PA; Nedra (Leo) Schrock of Kalona; and a sister- in- law Wanda Miller of Kalona. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 granddaughters; Heather Gingerich and Amanda Miller, a brother Roger Miller and a brother-in-law Leon Thomas.
