Grant Jeffery Baker

Grant Jeffery Baker, son of Jeff and Jill Baker of Mt. Pleasant, IA, was stillborn on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at the Henry County Health Center. Private family graveside services were held at the Forest Home Cemetery, with Father Gary Beckman of St. John's Catholic Church of Houghton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family who will donate them to children's charities. Those memorials may be left at the Olson - Powell Memorial Chapel, who is assisting the family with the arrangements. Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Jill Philp Baker of Mt. Pleasant, IA; a twin brother, Owen Scott Baker of Mt. Pleasant, IA; grandparents, Charles Philp of Door County, WI, Marvel (Dean) Crabill of Mt. Pleasant, IA, Shirley (Mike) Long of Ottumwa, IA, and Richard (Patti) Baker of Ft. Madison, IA; great-grandmothers, Helen Pollack of Mt. Pleasant, IA, and Josephine Yardley of Marceline, MO. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends.
