Grace A. Norenberg, age 94, of Keota, died Thursday, February 2, 2006, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney, following a brief illness. Grace was born February 17, 1911, in Clear Creek Township, Keokuk County, Iowa, to August and Katherine (Haupert) Biewen and attended What Cheer High School. On November 28, 1928, she married Isaac Grove Norenberg in Sigourney. The couple lived in the Keota community, where Grace was a very dedicated mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. Survivors include ten children: Pauline Cave and husband Darvin, Jr. of South English, Donald "Dick" of Keota, Stanley of Adel, Lowell and wife Anna of Branson, Missouri, Lois Bennett of Keota, Beverly Earll and husband Donald of Hiawatha, Gary and wife Judy of McHenry, Mississippi, Veronica Shifflett and husband Roger of Sigourney, Jay and wife Pat of Pensacola, Florida and George and wife Chris of Iowa City; 37 grandchildren; 67 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren a sister: Lillian Himrod of Hermosa, South Dakota; and a brother: Charles Biewen of Tillamook, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Isaac in 1987; one son: Lou Edward Norenberg; one grandson: Gregory Cave; one great grandson: Ryan Jay Tuttle; a brother: John Biewen and two sisters: Louise Shellangaski and Rosella Tinnes.
