Gladys June Miller

WELLMAN- Gladys June Miller was born June 23, 1925 in rural Wellman, Iowa, the daughter of Ortis W. and Anna (Hochstetler) Miller. She graduated from Wellman High School in 1944. Gladys worked at A & P Grocery and Walgreens in Iowa City. She was a member of the Wellman Mennonite Church and volunteered at the Wellman Senior Center. She enjoyed putting together puzzles and going on walks. Gladys passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Parkview in Wellman at the age of 89 years.

Gladys is survived by a sister Grace Miller of Wellman, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents

Celebration of life service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Pastor Nathan Ramer will officiate. Burial will be in the Wellman Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 4-7 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman.
