G.F. Spears

G.F. Spears was born February 19, 1943 in Richmond, Virginia, the son of Olin and Liza (Collins) Spears. He attended school in Richmond. He worked on oil rigs for many years. G.F. died on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Parkview Manor in Wellman at the age of 73 years.
G.F. is survived by a daughter Dorothy Cross of North Liberty; a son Jeff Spears of North Liberty; 5 grandchildren; and a brother J.B. Spears of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Virginia Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. Pastor Tom Gibson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12 - 2 PM on Saturday. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is caring for G.F. and his family.
