Freddie Eugene Nail was born January 3, 1940 in Ranger, Texas, the son of Delton Charles and Opal Gladys Cook Nail. He attended school in Ranger. Freddie was united in marriage to Pam Lawson on November 10, 1972 in Linn County Texas. To this marraige they were blessed with five children. They later divorced. Freddie worked as a crane operator for a construction company in Texas. Freddie lived in Texas until 2004 when he moved to the Williamsburg area. Freddie died Monday, February 20, 2006 at Highland Ridge in Williamsburg after a sudden illness at the age of 66 years. He is survived by five children: Meshelle (Richard) VanErsvelde of Williamsburg, Michael and Robert Nail both of Pensacola, Florida, Liesa Nail (special friend Damond Beal) of Hartwick and Kimberly Nail of Brooklyn; four grandchildren: Zachary, Kalee, Katie and Kerstin; a sister: Lossie Faye Mullenix of New Mexico and a brother Jimmy Schubert of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Bobby, Hubert and Bo. Celebration of life services are set for 2:00 pm Thursday, February 23, 2006 at the Uhlmann - Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg with Pastor Robin Cash officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time on Thursday.
