Fannie Hochstedler

Fannie Hochstedler was born September 22, 1926 in Arthur, Illinois, the daughter of John G. and Lena (Mast) Hochstedler. In her youth she accepted Christ and was a faithful member of the Old Order Amish Church. Fannie moved from Garnett, Kansas to the Kalona community in 1974. Fannie died on Friday, March 2, 2018 at her home in Kalona at the age of 91 years, 5 month, and 8 days.
Fannie is survived by a sister: Amanda Hochstedler of Kalona, a sister-in-law: Fannie Marie Gingerich of Bloomfield, 12 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: John in 1992 and Lena in 2002, a sister Alta Hochstedler in 2016, two brothers: Omer Hochstedler in 2007 and Henry Hochstedler in 2007, two sisters: Mattie Hochstedler in 2012 and Annie (Mrs. John) Gingerich in 2014.

A Funeral Service will be held 9:30 am Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Paul Beachy Residence. Burial will be held in the South Gingerich Cemetery. Visitation will start at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 3, 2018 and Sunday starting at 1:00 pm at the Paul Beachy Residence, 1069 Maple Avenue, Kalona, IA 52247
