Evelyn Sheryl Swartzentruber

KALONA - Evelyn Sheryl Swartzentruber, age 33 of Kalona, Iowa, died in her home on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Evelyn was born March 27, 1984 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of James Arlin and Fannie N. (Miller) Swartzentruber. Evelyn had her special needs. It was a privilege to care for her.
Evelyn is survived by her parents, James and Fannie Swartzentruber of Kalona; 4 brothers: Titus and wife Anna of Wellman, Iowa, David and wife Kathleen of Kalona, Iowa, William and wife Dorothy of Plad, Missouri, John and wife Wanda of Port Republic, Virginia; 20 nieces and nephews: Kendall, Krystal, Ruthann, Darlis, Melissa, Karmen, Paul, Devin, Sharita, Vincent, Everett, Annthea, Annette, Larena, Lavon, Corwin, Curvin, Sharlou, Rochelle, Karesa; and grandparents Eldon and Katie Swartzentruber of Virginia. She was preceded in death by a brother Daniel, a niece Jewel, grandmother Eldora Swartzentruber and grandparents Noah and Lydia Miller.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Sharon Bethel Church in rural Kalona. Burial will be in the Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday at the Sharon Bethel Church. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home is caring for Evelyn and her family.
