Eloise Margaret Robison, was born November 11, 1920, in Wiggins, Colorado, the daughter of George Matthias and Nora (Goodman) Morrow. She graduated from Sigourney High School in 1938. On November 16, 1952, Eloise married Forrest Dale Robison at the Christian Church in Sigourney, Iowa. She grew up in Wiggins, CO, lived in Thornburg from 1933-1936, Sigourney from 1936-1952 where she worked for Iowa Southern Utilities for 11 years, and then moved to South English after their marriage. They and Warren & Doris Howard owned and operated H & R Standard Service in South English for many years. Eloise was a member of the South English Union Church and later the Millersburg Methodist Church. Her church was very important to her and she held many offices. While she lived in her apartment she would watch the traffic go buy on the highway. She kept a list of the truck lines that went by and ended up with well over 700. She died on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the English Valley Care Center where she had been a resident since March 2005. Eloise lived 91 years, 5 months and 24 days. She is survived by a son Forrest Dale Robison Jr. of Keswick; 3 grandsons: David Robison of Pensacola, FL; Nathan Robison of Portland, OR; and Matthew Robison of Keswick; 3 great grandchildren: Katelyn, Ethan & Cody; and a sister Ruth Cook of Wilmette, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers Frank Morrow and George Morrow; three sisters: Elizabeth Morrow and Edith & Ethel Morrow (her triplets); 3 brothers-in-law Roy Robison, Archie Robison and Weldon Cook; and a sister-in-law Doris Howard. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Powell Funeral Home, North English. Rev. Michelle Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in the South English Cemetery, Visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the Powell Funeral Home, North English. A general memorial fund has been established.
