Ella Irene Miller, was born on September 4, 1946, in Kalona, Iowa, a daughter of Earl J. and Mary (Bender) Beachy. On September 12, 1968, she was united in marriage to Alvin Miller in Kalona, Iowa. They lived in Kalona, Iowa until 1977, when they moved to Wisconsin. In 1994 they moved to New York. She was a faithful member of the Madison Mennonite Church in Madison, NY. Ella died on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, after a sudden illness at the age of 62 years. She is survived by her husband Alvin of Munnsville, NY; 9 children- Marlin Dale (Miriam) Miller of Clarkston, KY, Richard (Mary) Miller of Madison, NY, Duane Lee (Laura) Miller of Munnsville, NY, Ruth Ann (Luke) Coblentz of Flemingsburg, KY, Nelson Ray (Laura) Miller of Dixon, TN, Regina Rose Miller of Munnsville, NY, Lorene (Marvin) Stoltzfus of Madison, NY, Matthew Miller of Munnsville, NY and Eldon Miller of Munnsville, NY; 27 grandchildren; her father Earl J. Beachy of Kalona, IA; 2 brothers Emery Lewis Beachy of Richmond, MO and Morris Earl Beachy of Kalona, IA; 2 sisters- Judy Mae Kauffmann of Smyrna Mills, ME, Sylvia Jane Miller of Kalona, IA. She was preceded in death by her mother; a brother Eldon Beachy and a grandson Jeffrey Miller.
