Iowa City-Donald Dean Perrin was born February 11, 1947 in Washington, Iowa the son of Earnest and Donna (Moffit) Perrin. He graduated from Washington High School. Donald worked in the kitchen at the VA Hospital in Iowa City for 31 years and later worked for Capital Vending. Donald passed away at his home on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the age of 65 years. Donald is survived by his daughter Joy Perrin of Iowa City, three brothers Marvin of Rubio, Paul of Iowa City and Charles of Keota; a sister Diana Cavin of Washington; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Kathy Ann Nupp. Celebration of life service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Burial will follow at the Piersol Cemetery in rural North English. Visitation is from 5-7 PM Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman.
