Delora Janet Madoerin

Williamsburg-Delora Janet Madoerin was born December 14, 1960 in Marengo, Iowa the daughter of Gerald David and Doris Anne (Feiereisen) Shaull. She graduated from Williamsburg High School. Delora was united in marriage to Kevin Lee Madoerin on November 19, 1977 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Delora was a wife, mother, and grandmother, along with working at a number of businesses in Williamsburg. She also sold Lia Sophia Jewelry and cared for children in her home. She enjoyed collecting snowmen, sewing, crocheting (blankets for Safe Haven of Iowa County and scarfs for cancer center) and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Delora passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 55 years.

She is survived by her husband Kevin of 39 years; two sons: Keith (Kristy) Madoerin of Coralville and Nathan (Rebecca) Madoerin of Cedar Falls; 8 grandchildren: Zachary, Memphis, Cooper, Violet, Oliver, Levi, Kaleb and Devin; three brothers: Robert (Shirley) Feiereisen of Walford, Chuck (Dena) Shaull of Iowa City and Larry (Dede) Shaull of Williamsburg; a step sister: Jan (Larry) Waddell of Marengo and her mother-in-law: Stella "Esther" Madoerin of Williamsburg. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 am Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Pastor Thomas Ogilvie will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
